ongoing performance is an ongoing project , which seeks to investigate the dynamics and expectations of performing publicly. In each manifestation of ongoing performance different aims and desires are developed for what the performance may involve or entail, although, most works pay particular attention to things such as improvisation and learning publicly.

This particular performance, the first in the series, focused primarily on memory. In particular a text by Henri Bergson entitled 'Matter and Memory.'
Objects, texts, thematic elements and relationships, none pre-ordained, were accessed to shape the content and form of the performance.

Following 'ongoing performances' interest in improvisation, I sent out an open call on craigslist to musicians to come play with me on
the night of September 26th, in which several replied and 3 participated.
