Second Crowd, 2009 Sound Engineer: Aaron David Ross of Gatekeeper MaxMSP Runtime Patch Second Crowd is a site specific sound work that premiered at the opening of Everything Again. The piece consisted of a microphone hung from the ceiling in the middle of the gallery which recorded one minute of crowd noise at a time, this one minute was then played back through speakers in the corners of the gallery, creating the illusion of a second invisible crowd. This process repeated itself throughout the duration of the opening. This image is a jpeg of the patch Aaron built. Disclaimer:::::Incomplete |
