Blue Man Bootleg Blue Man Bootleg was a one night performance and resultant installation. The performance was based on a fiction involving a factory 'somewhere' that produces bootleg Yves Klein Anthropometry paintings. In order to produce the paintings, the factory has kidnapped a member of the Blue Man Group due to the blue color he exudes from his skin and his familiarity with reenacting tropes of modern performance art.The performance took the form of a production session involving a musical score, 6 factory workers and 1 blue man. The resultant installation was composed of the 8 paintings produced in the performance, ephemera from the event, and a projection of the video shot during the performance.
